You will experience the statues, the famous music venues, the architecture and the historical speeches that put Birmingham on the International map. We will take you on an exciting journey of discovery that will leave you wanting to see more of the great City of Birmingham. From The De Bermingham family and the City’s roots to modern day life,  this walking tour in Birmingham has something for everyone.

Meeting at the statue of Lord Horatio Nelson at the foot of the world famous Bull Ring and New Street. Walking along New Street we take you Winston Churchills favourite hotel  and where the famous Rivers Of Blood speech was presented. Coming down Colmore Row you will come past the Grand Hotel which opened it’s doors in 1885 and stands proud in the City today. On to St Philips Cathedral and to history dating back to 1715.

Down now to Victoria square where you see the Council House, whose history and architecture stand tall overlooking looking the fountain, dubbed the “Floozie In The Jacuzzi” by the locals and the statue of Queen Victoria, erected only a few days before her death in 1901.

We then move to Centenary Square. From war time heroes to theatre, inventors to politics, this area has see a lot of history and change. We take you to see Baskerville House, The Hall Of Memory & Birminghams World Famous Library, the ICC, Symphony Hall and the Rep Theatre. From 1000 bodies being discovered to the innovation of the printing press, there is a lot to take in!

From here, we move to the canal network which Birmingham is famous for. This helped to bring goods in to build the City and remains in integrally important to this day.

We end on Broad Street, Birmingham entertainment quarter. With Birminghams answer to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, the Walk Of Stars started in 2007 by proud “Brummie”, our very own music legend Ozzy Osbourne.

Q: What Time Does The Tour Begin?
A: All guests should arrive by 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start.

Q: What Time Does The Tour End?
A: This very much depends on the number of questions that are asked. We aim to finish between 8:30pm and 9:00pm but this can be later. Should you wish to leave to catch trains, buses then please feel free to leave at your convenience.

Q: Is my registration/ticket transferable?
A: Tickets are non refundable and non transferable. This is because we are a business and have costs that need to be paid regardless of “no shows”. We understand that this can cause upset but we hope you understand.

Q:What is on the menu?
A: This is a walking tour option only.

Q: Is this tour wheelchair friendly?
A: Should you or a member of your party be a wheelchair user, we suggest speaking to our tour team prior to booking.

Q: How much walking is there?
A: Around 45 mins to 1 hour of walking.

Q: Is there parking nearby?
A: There are multiple car parks around Birmingham.
